I love these cats, and they love me. Every morning between 7:30 and 8:00 they come into my wife and I’s bedroom meowing and gently purring, communicating that they need food.
Sometimes it takes me a while to get up, maybe a few minutes, might even be a full hour. But that never discourages them, instead they persist, oftentimes getting closer to us, and even resting beside us. Then when I get up and head downstairs to the kitchen, they follow me with such vigor and excitement. They can’t see me preparing their food on the kitchen counter but they’re already celebrating.
It’s such a beautiful thing how these two cats display a faith that we should all exhibit with God. Even when it doesn’t seem like anything is happening, we should not be discouraged, but get closer to Him. And lastly we should celebrate with the full faith and knowledge that God will supply for ALL our needs and we will be victorious.
